So often when shopping secondhand you find that perfect, one-of-a-kind piece, but it needs a few alterations to fit "just right." Rather than pass up on that special item or have it sit in the to-do pile for months (or years?), you can now bring them to Two Big Blondes!
SODO Garment Collective specializes in gender and body affirming alterations, mending, and custom clothing. It was established with the goal of carving out a space where underrepresented bodies and individuals can be centered and celebrated.
Offering a range of services, SGC is dedicated to extending the life of garments and helping people feel their best in their clothes.
Common services include:
- Hemming pants and skirts, shortening sleeves and tops
- Taking in/reshaping hips, waist, and shoulders for better fit
- Fixing rips and open seams, replacing buttons, elastic, zippers, etc
What to expect:
- Bring your garments that need alterations & mending
- You will receive complimentary consultation & measuring
- Payment for services will be collected at the pop-up. You can check out the pricing guide & all Two Big Blondes customers will receive 20% off services at the pop-up!
- Services will be completed off-site & returned to Two Big Blondes within two weeks for pick-up
